BBQ Pulled Chicken Pita Tacos

Whole wheat pita bread toasted and filled with Sweet ‘n Spicy BBQ rotisserie chicken, cucumbers, green bell peppers, and grape tomatoes. Garnished with Italian parsley and pickled red onions.


4 each Whole wheat pita bread

12 oz Pulled rotisserie chicken meat

4 fl oz Sweet Baby Ray's Sweet & Spicy Barbecue Sauce

4 fl oz Cucumbers, scored, diced

4 tbsp Green bell peppers, diced

8 each Grape tomatoes, quartered

2 tsp Italian parsley, leaves, chopped

4 tbsp Pickled red onions, chopped


1. Place pulled chicken into a preheated saute pan over medium low heat with Sweet ‘n Spicy Barbecue Sauce and mix well until chicken is heated through.

2. Toast pita breads on flattop grill until heated and fill each pita like a taco with 3 ounces of barbecue pulled chicken meat, 1 fluid ounce cucumbers, 1 tablespoon of bell peppers, 8 each tomato quarters, sprinkle with chopped parsley and top with 1 tablespoon of pickled red onions.

3. Serve with additional barbecue sauce and sour cream (optional).
