BBQ Pulled Chicken Pita Tacos


  • 4 Whole wheat pita bread
  • 12 oz Pulled rotisserie chicken meat
  • 4 fl oz Sweet 'n Spicy Barbecue Sauce (SJ0441HF)
  • 4 oz Cucumbers, scored, diced
  • 4 tbsp Green bell peppers, diced
  • 8 Grape tomatoes, quartered
  • 2 tsp Italian parsley, leaves, chopped
  • 4 tbsp Pickled red onions, chopped


  1. Place pulled chicken into a preheated saute pan over medium low heat with {SJ0441HF] and mix well until chicken is heated through.
  2. Toast pita breads on flattop grill until heated and fill each pita like a taco with 3 ounces of barbecue pulled chicken meat, 1 fluid ounce cucumbers, 1 tablespoon of bell peppers, 8 each tomato quarters, sprinkle with chopped parsley and top with 1 tablespoon of pickled red onions.
  3. Serve with additional Sweet 'n Spicy Barbecue Sauce (SJ0441HF) and sour cream (optional).
