Brunswick Stew

Recipe for Brunswick Stew made with Sweet Baby Ray's Pit Boss Sauce


2 tbsp vegetable oil

2 cups onion, diced

1 tbsp garlic, minced

3 cups chicken stock

2 cups diced tomatoes

1 cup Sweet Baby Ray's Pit Boss Sauce

1/2 cup ketchup

2 tbsp Worcestershire

1 tsp crushed red pepper

1 tsp kosher salt

1 bay leaf

1 tsp thyme

2 lbs pulled pork

2 cups lima beans

2 cups corn

Salt and Pepper to taste


1. Heat oil

2. Add onions, carrot and garlic and saute

3. Add stock, tomatoes, pit boss sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire, crushed red pepper, salt, thyme and bay leaf and bring to a boil

4. Reduce heat and simmer

5. Add pork, lima beans, corn. Simmer 20 minutes

6. Season with salt and pepper and serve with warm cornbread
