No Sugar Added BBQ Bacon Meatloaf


  • 2 tbsp canola oil
  • 1 cup white onion, small diced
  • 1/2 cup celery, small diced
  • 2 tbsp chopped garlic
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 2 lbs ground beef
  • 1/2 cup shredded asiago cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • Kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • 2 cups Ray's No Sugar Added Original Barbecue Sauce (RY4423HA)
  • 6 strips bacon


  1. Preheat oven to 400 F.
  2. In skillet over medium heat, heat oil. Add onion and celery and cook until translucent.
  3. Add garlic, oregano, and chili powder and cook until fragrant, 1 minute. Let mixture cool slightly.
  4. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, vegetable mixture, cheeses, eggs, soy sauce, and season with salt and pepper. Shape into a large loaf in baking dish, brush with No Sugar Added Original BBQ Sauce (RY4423HA), then lay bacon slices on top.
  5. Cook until bacon is crispy and beef is to 165 F.
  6. If bacon is cooking too quickly, cover dish with foil.
  7. Remove from oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
  8. Cut and serve with additional No Sugar Added Original BBQ Sauce (RY4423HA).
