Tex-Mex Burger

Sweet and smoky Ken’s Blue Ribbon Texas BBQ Sauce and a dark beer give this burger its distinct Tex-Mex tastiness.

1 tsp Vegetable oil

2 cups White onions, halved, thinly sliced

1/4 cup Negra Modelo beer

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 cup Ken's Blue Ribbon Texas Barbecue Sauce

4 Beef burger patties, raw

4 slices Monterey jack cheese

4 Hamburger buns, split, lightly toasted

1 Tomato, cut into 4 thick slices

8 slices Bacon, cooked

1. Heat oil in a large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions and cook until golden brown.

2. Stir in beer and Worcestershire sauce, then bring to a boil. Stir in BBQ sauce and heat through. Remove from heat.

3. Heat grill to medium-high. Grill burgers until desired doneness.

4. Top each burger with a slice of cheese during the last minute of cooking. Serve on toasted buns topped with the onion mixture, tomato, and bacon.
